So here’s another one of those “back in the day” ones. Not sure exactly when this was, but it would have been back in the 80’s. This was probably my first (of now many) opportunities to be on TV as a result of my rescue activities. This was a Channel 9 piece on pool safety. Mom was the interviewee and all of us kids got to be in the pool. As the oldest, and (at that time) the only lifeguard out of the kids, I got to rescue my brother and start rescue breathing. Of course I was so nervous, I completely forgot to CHECK for breathing and started right into rescue breathing. Damn camera. I still get reminded of it occasionally… Enjoy!
