Some Patriot Guard Art

I was doing my ADD imitation last night and going through a bunch of images I hadn’t had time to mess with yet;  Most of them personal and or riding club related.   I came across this one from a recent Patriot Guard mission and thought I’d put it out there.  Slight crop and of course watermark added, but otherwise no Photoshop.  That’s really the view of my flag in the mirror.   I may go back and edit the dirt off the mirror though 🙂

Flags are visible as the Patriot Guard rides escort.

AVTT Escort – May 8, 2013

As a member of both the Southern Cruisers and the Patriot Guard, it was interested to combine them both on Wednesday when members from chapters 044 and 179 joined up with the Patriot Guard to escort the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) into Eaton for it’s display there.

If you’re so inclined, here’s some video from the event:

PGR Mission – Sgt. David Luff Jr – Memorial Highway

Sgt. David Luff Jr. was killed serving his country in 2010 and yesterday he was honored in Hamilton by the naming of the Sgt David Luff Jr Memorial Highway at SR177 and Stahlheber Rd.  The Patriot Guard was honored to accompany the family and provide a Flag Line for the ceremonies.

Of note, both the Sgt’s Widow and the Senator both made it a point to thank us for what we do.  The Senator actually walked around and shook each Guard member’s hand and said thank you.  That we were appreciated makes it worth the effort.

These are my images from the event:
